We go ALLOUT
In more than 79 countries around the world, lesbian, gay, transgendered and bisexual people live in that darkness. They are persecuted, imprisoned, humiliated and tortured, their only crime being their expression of the act of love.
ALLOUT is an international organization that focusses on changing the policy, education and awareness of LGBT rights. Through video testimonials, flash mobs, petitions and other creative content they aim to start provocative conversations to alter the public opinion.
On this Midsummernight's Eve 2014, 21st June we try to make a difference. All benefits on ticket sale and the fashion auction are donated directly to ALLOUT. Let's fight this darkness and celebrate the longest day with love, play and freedom.
A One Woman Musical
Aynouk Tan will open the Fairies for Freedom with a One Woman Musical.
Starting at 21:00
Fashion Auction
Now is your chance to get a hold of some unique designer items. During Fairies For Freedom we will auction the garments and accessories for the benefits of ALLOUT.

Lightness
In an age where everyone is affected by the weight of society, the overbearing fears of the economy and the heavy hand of government, 'lightness' is the way forward. Let go of the material and celebrate the ethereal with 11 weeks of 'lightness'. Each week Mediamatic invites a new artist to question the meaning of 'lightness'. Fairies For Freedom is part of Martin Butler's week of 'Lightnes'. Go here to see the full program.
Information
Mediamatic, VOC-kade 10, Oostenburg Amsterdam.
