A group of sixteen participants used their own footage in the Korsakow System, an application used for developing interactive films. In five days they reïnvented the narrative structure of their dance stories and changed it into a new interactive experience.
The workshop focused on optimizing the story by manipulating both the footage and the storyline to make and interesting interactive non linear story.
How does one maintain tension in a non-linear story? How can the viewers' actions be integrated meaningfully into the narrative? What does it mean to replace the absolute cut with the possible link?
On Thursday the eighth of July at four o'clock the final projects were presented. This presentation was open to all Cinedans visitors and was held in Mediamatic's workshop space on the fifth floor in the Post CS building.
