While my first first has always been illustration, Arabic typography always seems to have this vague allure...
After graduating with a BS in Graphic Design from the Lebanese American University, I then went on to work for three years as an Art Director with Leo Burnett, Jeddah. Wanting to push my boundaries further, I started lecturing different and numerous Graphic Design courses, for six semesters now in Dar Al-Hekma College, Jeddah.
Part of what I also do is to organize exhibitions, screenings, and workshops for young design students, and graduates. I have been asked to be a member of sevral juries.
Local magazines have included some of my work. And as an active designer, I have participated in various exhibitions in Beirut, and Jeddah.
I am currently pursuing my Masters in Illustration from the Academy of Arts University. My personal work and thesis continues to be my deep interest in the stereotyping of Arab Women.
