Dröge Wendel original focus was familiar, everyday objects, and in 1992 she married Wendel, a decorative cabinet, whose name she officially bears. She also works on commissions for public space, and is an advisor for art in public space at Stroom -Centre for Art and Architecture in The Hague.
Yvonne Dröge Wendel lives and works in Amsterdam.
