Reem is a co-founder of Febrik Studio.

Febrik is a Lebanon based NGO with practicing architects, designers and artists active in the Middle East and the UK. Its work started in 2003 with the Creative Creatures projects in Borj El Barajni Camp in Beirut.

Febrik’s main area of concern lies in the dynamics and practices of public spaces in relation to social and urban change. It focuses on the use of the creative process—architecture, art, film, photography and text—as a medium to enhance community participation and action within the immediate social and physical environment.

To achieve our goals we use educational participatory workshops within communities—with special focus on children and youth—as well as site-specific installations and programmatic interventions

Reem also teaches architecture and spatial design at Chelsea Colleg of Art and Design and University of East London.
