Jochem paap made his international breakthrough in the early nineties with releases on plus 8 (Rihie Hawtin and John Acquaviva's record label) and on Warp records. After a number of experimental records on Novamute he released Loudboxer (2oo2)) in co-production with several well known techno artists.
Today Jochem Paap works with the latest 5.1. Dolby Surround System. V2_ is honored to present his forthcoming DVD release 'Umfeld', which it will also host on its website. The complete DVD with all features will be released on Novamute in early 2007.
During the REMF weekend Jochem Paap and collaborating filmmaker Scott Pagano will introduce the Umfeld DVD ar V@_ with the documentary 'making of the Umfeld'. The presentations will be complemented by live music set featuring Nank, Funckarma and Wolfram der Spyra.
