Valentrinity

Chilean, living in Barcelona since 2008. Journalist, curator and teacher. Holds a Bachelor degree in Aesthetics from the Catholic University of Chile, and a Master degree on Curatorial and Cultural Practices in Art and New Media from ESDI -Universidad Ramon Llull (Spain). She is currently studying towards a PhD in Image and Technology at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Barcelona. As a teacher, she has taught Art History, Aesthetics, Art Criticism, Curatorship and Research Methodology at the Institute Arcos, Universidad Católica de Chile; EATM (Barcelona), Escola d'Art and Disenny, ESDi (Sabadell) and School of Design & Photo IDEP (Barcelona).

Montero has worked as a curator and cultural manager for the National Museum of Fine Arts in Chile, and for the latest editions of the Biennial of Video and Media Arts in Santiago (www.bvam.cl). She has also curated exhibitions in Room L 'Estruch (Spain) and was guest curator for "Drap-Art 2008 and 2009" at the CCCB, Centre for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona.
