Hotel Maria Kapel

Hotel Maria Kapel is een residency met een tentoonstellingsruimte voor hedendaagse beeldende kunst in het stadscentrum van Hoorn. In de afgelopen jaren hebben groepen kunstenaars uit binnen- en buitenland tijdens werkperiodes nieuwe projecten ontwikkeld die werden tentoongesteld in de Mariakapel, in Hoorn, West-Friesland en daarbuiten. Hotel Maria Kapel maakt zich hard voor het productieproces van getalenteerde kunstenaars, zoals we dat sinds de oprichting in 2003 gefaciliteerd en ondersteund hebben. We werken met beginnende en meer gevestigde kunstenaars van over de hele wereld aan wie we, ongeacht de fase waar ze zich in bevinden, vol vertrouwen onze ruimte aanbieden om hun ideeën te verwezenlijken.

Hotel Maria Kapel is a residency with an exhibition space for contemporary visual art in the city centre of Hoorn, the Netherlands. In recent years, groups of artists from the Netherlands and abroad have developed new projects that were exhibited in the chapel, in Hoorn, West Friesland and beyond. Hotel Maria Kapel is strongly committed to the working process of talented artists whose projects we’ve facilitated and supported since HMK’s inception in 2003.
