Hi I'm Cigdem! I grew up in a small village (Bovenkarspel) up in the North of Holland. After graduating from High School I have decided not to marry a hansom dutch farmer but to study Interior Architecture, which I have finished in Istanbul during my internship at a Architecture Company: Remar Mimarlik Ltd.

After being graduated, lived and loved in Istanbul I discovered my interest for Communications and started a new study: Communication&Media, during this study I have done an exchange program at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid to learn more about: Anthropology, Political and cultural thought and Photography.

I have experiences in organizing cultural and art related events, teaching, management and redactional work. At Mediamatic I work for the project; Kom je ook? and also a project related to 400 years of Turkish- Dutch relations in 2012.

I can't live without music, cinema, sushi and my bicycle:)
