Cozy place with a friendly hostess that speaks only Dutch. Unique in Amsterdam: the menu features ten different beers. Only one dish is served: a chicken sate that’s quite expensive, but tasty. Indoor smoking is permitted. mo - fr: 10 - 1 am, sa - su: 11 - 2 am.

Cafe Ot en Sien - An authentic nice cafe named after a children book series dating from the 1920's. After the Second World War they went out fashion, but up to this day the saying 'Uit de tijd van Ot en Sien' is still used when something is really old. Willem Velthoven
