If gender is a construct, it means we created it at some point in human history and that before that, gender didn't exist in the way it has been imposed on us over the last centuries. Many indigenous cultures have a more free and diverse understanding of gender expression. In this immersive performance, Sally and Bebe invite you to break up with gender through a communal experience of sexual pleasure inspired by Yorùbá mythology and the mother of all, goddess Yemoja.
