Norbert Peeters (37) is a botanical philosopher, writer, and PhD-student at Leiden University. His dissertation focuses on the philosophy of weeds, invasive exotics, and the historical roots of invasive plants in the 18th and 19th century. He published several books, his debut was Botanische revolutie: de plantenleer van Charles Darwin (2016) and his last book was Wildernis-vernis: een filosoof in het Vondelpark (2021).
