The Menu
This 5-course vegan dinner combines traditional and unconventional knowledge, herbal wisdoms and remedies from all around the world. The Dinner of the Damned incorporates ingredients known for their mood-enhancing properties, and healing grieving rituals. Martin and Alice take you on a culinary path that will leave you fed, healed and transformed while connecting with your gothic soul.
The Artists
Martin Butler is an interdisciplinary artist, and stage director. His work has always bridged and combined various disciplines, dance, theatre, music, film, performance, new media, and fashion, and through this interdisciplinary approach his work explores the new dramatic that the combination of different genres facilitate.
Alice Héron is a multidisciplinary artist and chef. She creates sensory food experiences, site specific environments, as well as visceral sculptures evoking a scary, but beautiful feeling of following intuition. Through different mediums Alice investigates how our bodies care, sense and interact with one another.
I-Chen Zuffellato is a performer, curator and activist fascinated by reimagining the community. In her projects she explores the concept of body and identity, its alterations, as well as the very act of performing, its meaning and form and its impact on the public.
