Nico Macdonald consults and writes on innovation in the media sector and beyond for clients including BBC Future Media & Technology at BT plc. He founded and chairs the Innovation Forum innovationforum.spy.co.uk/ and the Innovation Reading Circle www.spy.co.uk/InnovationReadingCircle/ which aims to raise the level of public and private discussion of innovation in society. He is chair of the Media Futures Conference www.mediafuturesconference.com/ a BBC event which takes place in London. He writes for publications including BBC News Online, the RSA Journal, the Guardian newspaper, Creative Review, Silicon.com, The Register and the Design Council Magazine (DCM), and is authors of of 'What is Web Design?' www.whatiswebdesign.com/ (RotoVision, 2003).
