The ribbons, The Street was incorporated in 'Here as the Centre of the World', a trans national artistic research project for young artists from Beirut (Lebanon), Damascus (Syria), Diyarbakir (Turkey), Enschede (The Netherlands), Khartoum (Sudan) and Thai.

The Strait Street, Damascus, Syria 2006 - The traditional commercial center of the city Damascus, surrounded by historical sights. Where was the venue of Here As The Center Of The World in Damascus in 2006.

This project is an initiative of the Dutch Art Institute and the COMMON PROJECT Foundation in Enschede facilitated by Zico House in Beirut, the NIASD in Damascus, ANADOLU KULTUR in Diyarbakir, the Rachid Diab Arts Center in Khartoum and the National Taipei University of Education.

In 2006, The Straight Street was the venue of Here As The Center Of The World project in Damascus. The Straight Street is the traditional business center in the city of Damascus. The area is densely surrounded by historical sights, that presents the original lifestyle of Syria.
The performance piece by Mu in the Strait Street was a collaboration with Syria artist: Hrair Sarkissian and Dutch artist: Gerco Lindeboom
