Zea is the alter ego of Amsterdammer Arnold de Boer (guitar, vocals, sampler and electronics). Zea comes with fast-paced programmed drums, copious synth work, guitars that go from jangly to strummy on a moment's notice, and vocals that chant as much as they sing. 8-bit electronic sounds exploding all over the place and at the same time a poptune isn't out of the question either.
House of John Player is the ongoing bedroom/lo-fi solo project of Dean Spencer. Since its beginning in 2006, House of John Player has shifted through an amalgam of styles and setups, from weird Folky-Pop sets to noisy disgruntled keyboards and loopy Pop-tastic jams with slices of face-cringing high ends.
Dan Friel (Important Records) is one-fourth of American experimental Rock/Noise band Parts & Labor. He uses a variety of electronics and instruments (toy keyboards, guitar effects pedals, walkie-talkies and R/C car remotes) to make science – music science. Friel has been creating a series of instrumental electronics EPs since 2001.
