With the use of a raster graphics editor (Pixen for Mac OSX users and GraphicsGale for Window users) and the guidance of Paul Veer, you will design your own pixelated avatar or image. For those who are quick, and if there's time left, you can take it a step further and animate your little avatar. Here you can read more about the technique, also known as 'Spriting'.
Who?
Paul Veer (also known as Pietepiet) makes graphics for 2D video- and computer games. When he's not making his own games, he does graphics for other people's games. Big projects he has worked on:
