STOP! virtual infiltration of the Venice Biennial - STOP the infiltration of unauthorized augmented reality pavilions into the 54th Venice Bieniial Sander Veenhof

As a consequence of the massive outbreak of augmented reality acquantance, this years' edition of the Biennial is being infiltrated by numerous unofficial virtual pavilions 'physically' present in the augmented reality space of the Biennial areas.

The exclusivity of this traditional art domain is at risk, now that the physical space is going to be 'enriched' by numerous parallel 'virtual' realities, battling the traditional art world structures. Which is not in the least also a battle between those initiatives and artists planning their invisible contributions to the virtual space! Manifest.AR, Les Liens Invisibles, Amir Baradaran, some even making use of competing techniques, fighting out their battle amongst each other too.

An invisible battle to most, but a crucial, or perhaps even historic moment to others. All to be documented accurately on Manifestar.info, starting June 1st 2011.

Will you be at the Venice Biennial yourself? Then please make use of your physical presence inside the Giardini to help locate the unofficial pavilions and DELETE them using the (free) Layar application on your iPhone.
