Removing the cereal from the pantyhose

After boiling it for 70 minutes Daniel stores the cereal for further use as mushroom subtrate.

Temperature check

We had to check the temperature regulary to keep the heat around 63ºC for 35 Minutes

Reishi indoor cultivation

Ganoderma lucidum growing on coffee grounds with a casing layer made of untreated garden substrate. The green leaf of basilicum is my humidity indicator and also an effective insect repellent.

Spent beer grain

Spent grain and Hops. Substrate for mycelium. First needs to be cooled to below 20 centigrade and raise the Ph toward more alkaline, from 5 to 6-7 Ph if the mycelium are to have a chance at eating it.
