Szimpla Kertmozi in Budapest

The Szimpla kert or Szimpla kertmozi is a mixture of an open air place, a pub and a cinema. From the street you almost miss the entrance because it looks like a regular door entrance (watch out for a small yellow sign) and inside is amazing. You enter the Szipla kert in the courtyard of an old house where you find all different kinds of chairs, tables and sofas. All of the furniture in there is unique, which makes it seem like more of a speak-easy. It looks a little bit run-down, but the sketchy feeling is what gives it the personality. The cinema plays alternative movies almost every night. Enjoy a beer or wine while you take in a movie! And the pice is right: a beer is only 380 HUF (1,50€).
