Candace Johnson is an international telecommunications expert and entrepreneur, and one of the 50 most powerful businesswomen in Europe. She is co-initiator of SES ASTRA and SES Global, one of the largest satellite systems in the world. She is also the founder and president of Europe Online, the world's first Internet via satellite network and is the founder of the continent's first independent, private trans-border satellite communications company, Teleport Europe-Loral Cyberstar.

There are different ways information, systems and patterns can be used to create narrative and help people understand the world around them. Games are the obvious answer. Come out and Play is the first festival dedicated to location-based, mobile and big games.
Greg Trefry works as a game designer at gamelab and designs street games. Currently, he is serving as the festival director for the Come Out & Play Festival, a three day festival of location-based games which will run for the first time in Amsterdam during PICNIC07.

Title designer Danny Yount’s work has earned many industry awards, including an Emmy for the opening sequence of Six Feet Under, which has been called “television's most gorgeous opening sequence”. He designed and directed the main title for Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and recently completed credit sequences for The Reaping and The Invasion for Warner Bros
A self-taught designer, Danny Yount has exercised his natural talents to become one of today's top main title designers for film and television, as well as a photographer and commercial director.

David Weinberger's new book covers the breakdown of the established order of ordering. He explains how methods of categorization designed for physical objects fail when we can instead put things in multiple categories at once, and search them in many ways.
David Weinberger is a technologist and commentator, known as co-author of the Cluetrain Manifesto (originally a website, and eventually a book, which has been described as "a primer on Internet marketing"). Weinberger's work focuses on how the Internet is changing human relationships, communication, and society.
A philosopher by training, he holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and taught college from 1980-1986. He was a gag writer for the comic strip "Inside Woody Allen" from 1976-1983. He became a marketing consultant and executive at several high tech companies, and currently serves as a fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School. He had the title Senior Internet Advisor to Howard Dean's 2004 presidential campaign.
