IkSentric design

The theme of this year's Dev Camp is ikSentric design. The idea is to measure human behavior and human 'output'. Think along the lines of bio-mapping, or measuring weight and length. But we can go a bit deeper as well, and measure physical responses: heart rate, hand strength, punch force, maximum running speed, etc. The installations made show us something about who we are, and how we respond to each other. A digital representation of the self.

Program

The first evening was all about the interactive installations made during the Dev Camp. The programmers, designers and developers presented their projects and explained how they work. But best of all: it was finally time to play with and explore them.

More information

Sensors are increasingly employed in the creative sector, as well as in the medical world, agriculture, new media, and by the government. What can sensors tell us about ourselves and the world?

Doors open at 8pm. Passe partouts are going at the discount price of €7,50 (that's 50% off!) and one-day tickets have been knocked down from €5,- to €3,-. Grab yourself a bargain! You can buy your tickets online or at the door.
