networked individual in a networked world. All of my work is aimed at increasing the ability of people to act in the context of the groups, communities and organizations they are part of. 'Ability to act' is my working definition of knowledge. Background in technology and philosophy of science with copious experience in knowledge and change management as well as social media. Currently active in three specific areas: dealing with complexity and intractable problems, community-based informal learning, and open government data, which I see as the richest untapped resource for people at the moment.
