Smart Textiles are a new trend where fashion, art and technology intersect, integrating innovative materials and electronics in a textile carrier. Artists and designers are bringing textiles to life using movement, light and sound to present their views on contemporary culture. Pretty Smart Textiles brings together for the first time e-textiles made by young artists and designers in the Netherlands. The exhibition is an initiative of Stichting Villanuts, with Melissa Coleman and Dorith Sjardijn as curators.
