Just burn the money

Dutch artist Dadara also founded a new kind of bank, which he called a Exchanghibition Bank. Last November 17th, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam hosted the bank. You were able to exchange your money for the banknotes of the Exchanghibition Bank and there were discussions about our paying system. The banknotes he made do have value, but only for a short amount of time, as long as the project exists. It's clear from the beginning that the bank is going to get bankrupt, that's in the plan. Dadara was inspired by the K Foundation, an art collective that started as a British band called KLF. When they switched from music to performance art, they burned all the money they earned. Dadara made bank notes with no value at all, endless value, a million. All without a currency, only the numbers. So also in case of the million, there was no real value. But, people do buy the fake money. At next December 20th, the value expires, according to the Bank. But now it is art so it's possible that the bank notes are going to be worth even more than before.
