Our chocolate-themed event will feature American poets Lynn Xu and Joshua Edwards, Rodney from the Amsterdam-based Chocolate Makers, a special chocolate tasting, and several other artists working work with, or around the theme of, chocolate.

Poet Lynn Xu
Lynn’s poems have appeared in a variety of journals. Her first full-length collection, Debts & Lessons, is forthcoming in April from Omnidawn, and a chapbook, June, was published by Corollary Press in 2006. With Robyn Schiff, Nick Twemlow, and Joshua Edwards, she coedits Canarium Books.
Poet Joshua Edwards
Joshua directs and co-edits Canarium Books. He’s the author of Campeche (Noemi, 2011) and Imperial Nostalgias (Ugly Duckling, 2013), and the translator of Mexican poet María Baranda’s Ficticia (Shearsman, 2010). Currently a fellow at the Akademie Schloss Solitude, he lives with his wife, Lynn Xu, in Stuttgart.
Rodney from Chocolate Makers
Rodney will tell stories about the “bean to bar” process that goes into making the chocolate that he and business partner Enver produce at Chocolate Makers, in the north of Amsterdam. Expect some good chocolate on hand.
Other artists working with chocolate will be announced over the coming weeks.
