Aquaponics is a sustainable food production system that combines the cultivation of veggies and fish. The best way to produce food in the city, because it hardly takes up any space. The fish poo feeds the plants, and the plants clean the water for the fish. Not a drop is wasted. Mediamatic is building an aquaponics farm and gives workshops. Join us if you want to learn how to grow your own food and not destroy the planet.

Farming workshop, April 25

You built or bought an aquaponics-installation and now what? During this workshop we'll practice performing the everyday tasks of an aquaponics farmer. We'll harvest fish and plants, test the water, 'vacuum' the tanks, cure our fish of awful diseases and more. Click here for more information and tickets. Building workshop, April 26

A crash course in biology, plumbing and carpentry. With our trainers' help, you will learn how to build a vertical aquaponics farm from scratch.
