In Plesiran Tempo Doeloe, Nathalie Smoor and Nina Boas explore their relation to their fathers' Dutch East Indies roots. Plesiran Tempo Doeloe means playing with the past, and is a remarkable Indonesian tradition of re-staging events from the colonial past.
