Mediamatic has launched a broad techno-cultural lab to explore the possibilities of mycelium for art and design. During our first meeting we will discuss how fungi can be used to progress a bio-based economy. Curator and bio-designer William Myers and Toby Kiers, associate professor of Evolutionary Biology, will tickle your imagination about fungal economics and using micro-organisms for design.
