For lunch, have a taste of local street food from Singapore at Albert Centre Market and Food Centre located at Queen Street to feat on a wide selection of local food items. Tired of the urban city? Catch a glimpse of artists at work at Wessex Estate, well tucked away from public’s eye! This hidden gems is a serene environment with lush greenery, rustic yet reminiscent of the village life of Singapore past. Wessex Estate is an arts housing for artists in Singapore. It will be quite a walk, please bring your hat and put on comfy light clothes!
For dinner, head down to Broun Café where you can experience a friendly dining experience - of healthy tasty food and local musical performances. If time permits, endulge in the free performances held at the Esplanade or head down to Marina Bay Sands and visit the free admission event; “Wonder Full”, Southeast Asia’s largest light and water show.
If you have another day to spare, and crazy enough, you can visit Art in Transit – a series of contemporary works by local artists decorating the walls of each train station that along North East Line and Circle Line.
