The Things Network is a global community of 15,983 people over 86 countries building a global Internet of Things data network. Their network uses a long range and low power radio frequency protocol called LoRaWAN and for short range Bluetooth 4.2.
The Things Network was part of the Get Prepped: On and Off the Grid event of 2017.
