Her strike quickly developed into the global climate movement Fridays for Future, and Thunberg has since given speeches at multiple climate summits, including her famous address at the 2019 UN climate summit. She has also been awarded many prizes, and nominated for many more, including two Nobel peace prices, and published a number of books, most recently The Climate Book. Despite having graduated in the meantime, she continues her Friday strikes to this day, and is considered one of the main public faces of climate activism and a leader in the activist community
