Garage Notweg, in the Amsterdam city district of Nieuw West, is a creative hotspot for social design. Notweg offers creative people, organisations and companies a workplace, a communal meeting area and a canteen. It also offers facilities for setting up programmes for a wide range of public events.
Garage Notweg wishes to apply social design to resolve social, cultural and economic issues with the use of creativity in society.
Garage Notweg is a unique building at the heart of the Wildemanbuurt, a neighbourhood in the Nieuw West city district of Amsterdam that is working hard on the future of Amsterdam. Osdorpplein is just around the corner, making Garage Notweg easily accessible by bus and tram.
The Garage will become operational as a creative hotspot at the beginning of 2009.
