Andrew has more than 15 years of IT industry and technology public relations experience in Australia, Asia Pacific and, most recently, Europe. His previous appointments include IBM Australia, IDC Australia and Recognition Public Relations, a Brodeur Public Relations affiliate in Sydney, Australia.

Andrew joined Text 100 in 1998, helping to establish the company’s first Australian office. He was appointed to Text 100’s Board of Directors in 2002, with responsibility for the company’s Asia Pacific network. During Andrew’s tenure, this network more than doubled in size, reporting revenue growth in excess of 50% in 2005 alone. At last count, Text 100 had 13 offices in Asia Pacific, employing more than 180 staff.

While in Asia, Andrew prepared the company’s business case for entering China in 2003, then worked to secure a local business licence, establish a Wholly Foreign Owned Entity (WFOE) and negotiate the acquisition of an affiliate partner in Beijing. Andrew was also responsible for negotiating the company’s licence partner agreement in Korea, and updating a similar relationship in Taiwan.

In December 2005, Andrew relocated to London, assuming the role of Regional Director for Text 100’s operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He also sits on the UK Public Relations Consultants Association’s (PRCA) International Public Relations Committee based in London.
