House at Heide Museum of Modern Art
Heide Museum of Modern Art consists of three buildings, and Victorian farmhouse, Heide 1, the new larger Gallery Halls, Heide 3 and the iconic McGlashan and Everist designed modernist building Heide 2. Heide 2 was built in In 1963 for collectors John and Sunday Reed, then owners of the entire Heide property as a ‘gallery to be lived in’ and is one of the most beautiful homes / galleries in Melbourne and certainly an important icon in Australian Architecture.
