Over thirty international guides from the Mediamatic network were invited to curate AND design their city's pavilions and represent their local cultural scene.
From 16 October 2009 until 3 January 2010 the Biennale could be visited at Mediamatic Bank, Vijzelstraat 68 in Amsterdam.
The Amsterdam Biennale is part of Mediamatic Travel: an exhibition, a DIY Travel website and a printed catalogue.
