Peter Giele

Peter Giele was born in Hilversum in 1954 and passed away on June 16 1999. 

He was an artist, designer, poet and interior decorator and a very influencial figure in the Amsterdam art world of the 1980s and 1990s. During his lifetime, Giele founded several cultural institutions, including gallery AORTA, discotheque RoXY and the club/restaurant Inez IPSC.
