Simultaneously Preis organized a summer camp for his crew, American style; along with boy/girl policy, cooking and shopping, shifts and a real itinerary including a torch, a sleeping bag, a pair of walking shoes and swim wear. Participants were Vivian Wenli Lin (USA), Marcus Galmazz (IT), Nina Boas (NL), Wayne Horse (DL), Ina Smits (NL), Franchesca Miazzo (IT), Christian Siedschlag (DL), Jesse Zarouk (USA), Takuro Mizuta (JP), Claudius Gebele (DL), Francesco Castellani (IT), Anna Taratiel (SP), MC Up and DJ Down (DL).
On Sunday the 28th of June Abner Preis and his crew presented BEAR MAN AND ALICE: THE PLAY, of which next Saturday and Sunday the video documentation will be shown. On Saturday the 11th of July there will be a festive presentation at 15:00 hrs, with a performance by Abner Preis, Nina Boas and guests.

Visual artist and story teller Abner Preis has been working on a new video work titled BEAR MAN AND ALICE. The American, also known for his impassioned work drive uses both miniature as well as life size characters and backdrops together with drawings and special made objects, some of which are made of rubbish. During his stay in SYB Preis selected his actors amongst his guests and found them within the local community of Beetsterzwaag. The production of his work appeared to be one large interactive performance.
