The group of Utrecht designers decided to join forces under the name, Groene Honden, because of the dearth of good platforms for new design school graduates.
The Groene Honden held their first exhibition in the Pastoe Factory in Utrecht in February 2007. They also exhibited at Art Camp (Leidsche Rijn, June 2007, Utrecht) and the Dutch Design Week (Strijp S, October 2007, Eindhoven).
The designers of the Groene Honden use their products to tell their own stories: They show what they have discovered, what fascinates them, and what amazes them at the poetic, as well as at the innovative and social level.
