There’s a growing interest for clay and architecture, a fascinating fusion of low- and high-tech, innovative design and technology of ancient logic. Clay is no longer only for alternative-ecological architects, but also for architects who are discovering the benefits of the material and how it can be used. His oeuvre includes buildings and landscape design: from noisewalls, cemeteries and busstations to houses, shops, schools and congress centres. On this evening presentation you will see how the different earthen building styles (from silt plaster to rammed earth) can be integrated in today’s modern architecture.
