In this video performance work, Immanuel asked ten questions of two female models ( Deventer ) - Esther T and Kim L, My approach to creating this film, using chance, happening, collaboration, stage, deconstruction, experiential processes as dialectical research on narrative, personal is political, media, social demarcations, evoked layers that suggested critiques of the constructs of Democracy, while also demonstrated the ideals of Democracy- freedom , rights, expression of Individuality. Also, in terms of the politics of society and art, this work gives voice, celebrates personal, recontextualizes gender, sexuality, in the exploration of power in the process of the social in the context of freedom and peace. As a note, I do not speak Dutch and did not, and continue not to know any of the specific meaning of the responses by Ester and Kim.on Dutch issues/ politics / culture. The full video is approximately 2hr15min. A selection of questions were compiled and exhibited in, Prognose voor de Toekomst / Prognosis for the Future (Video Festival + Exhibition) @ Gallery ST.
