The Javatas connects personal stories, recipes and portraits of local residents of the Indische Buurt to products and stores of shopkeepers in the Javastraat. The Zina platform is also a local project by a theatre group with artist from different cultures and different disciplines. It tells the life stories of the local residents. Its podium are the streets in the neighbourhood.
Mans Lamers
Mans Lamers is a Personal Assistant at the Female Economy Foundation and the Zina platform. Both were founded by playwright Adelheid Roosen. Mans is also active at Javatas, an initiative in Amsterdam Oost which brings together the local residents and entrepreneurs through food culture.
