The water at greenhouse 2 looks very dirty, the fish didn't eat the the floating feed and the water smelled very bad. We decided not to feed for 3-4 days.

Catfish from greenhouse 1 don't look very enthusiastic about the food. The water is also very muddy and the catfish stand up with their head close to the surface forming groups. Is it lack of oxygen? Also the drainage of greenhouse 1 and 2 aren't functioning optimal. There is a lot of waste in the tubes that decrease the discharge of water into the plant beds. The water in greenhouse 1 is very muddy and unclear, I tried to clean up the food left overs, maybe we should stop feeding to prevent overfeeding. The fishes reacted stressed because of the activities by me. Replaced the pump tube that was full with settled mug.

Ammonia level from greenhouse 1 is 0 again after cleaning up the tube and pump and putting the pump on a higher discharge.

Werd gebeld over dat de stroom was uitgevallen. 80% van de vissen zijn gesneuveld.
Today I came with some friends to show them the Freezing favela and when I opened the Aquaponics tent everything was dark, no lights, no pumps, nothing, the timers were stuck around 8 in the morning.
I take out a lot of dead fishes, this is really really sad and its the second time that happens so we MUST install an alarm or something like when a electricity cut happens.

Pump at greenhouse 1 was clogged en was almost not pumping anymore.

Disinfecting greenhouse 1 with bleach. let it stay for three days filled it up with water and pumped it out again.

Put ammonia and trace elements in the water. This will give the nitrification cycle a boost and gives some nice nutrients to the plants.
