Emin Özmen
Özmen is responsible for much of the development of Turkish photo journalism. He gained international recognition with his depiction of the Somalian draught and the Syrian Civil War for which he received a World Press Photo award. After his photo's repeatedly being rejected by mainstream Turkish media, he founded his own agency, Agence LeJournal. His works have been published a.o. in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, El Pais.

This exhibition takes place within PARK, a larger bottom-up exhibition and research space that explores the core concerns of the Gezi protests.
