maquetts of Iran's historical sites
Iran's Garden-Museum of Art was inaugurated on May 18th, 2007. Covering an area of 12000 square meters, the museum will display maquetts of the country's historical sites, including Chehel Sotun (40 Pillars), Pol-e-Khaju (Khaju Bridge), Gonbad-e-Kavus(Qabus Tower), Fin Garden of Kashan and Azadi Tower.
The director of Tehran Municipality's Cultural Art Organization said the Museum aims at showcasing the artistic talent of Iranian artists as well as providing a relaxed atmosphere for the development of their capabilities.
