Art Gallery

Laura Marsiaj started dealing with art in January 2000 in a small office and in 2003 she opened a gallery in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. It has since become a referential place for collectors, curators and contemporary art lovers.

The Gallery’s goal is to revitalize the art scene in the city by expanding the interest of art specialists, but also sparking the curiosity of the wider public, normally less catered for.

The gallery has 2 spaces: the main gallery and the Annex, and a program of 7 exhibitions a year. Every other year the gallery invites a curator to organize a group show. At the annex we always invite a young artist – that has no commercial representation or a foreign artist – to present in this space, parallel to the exhibition in the main gallery.
