What you will do
In this two-hour workshop you will learn to make your own instrument from dried Japanese Knotweed stems. Guided by Marc Lemonnier, musician/forager specialized in natural percussion, you'll craft a pan flute together and learn to play a song. Children and family members are encouraged to participate together in this family-oriented workshop.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Want to hear more knotweed music? Marc Lemonnier will be performing "L'Invention de la Musique", a storytelling & musical performance on the history of prehistoric music on April 22nd from 19:00 - 20:00. Find more information about this event here.
