Ruilen

Ruilen is an exhibition and series of events. Bring the pants you can't get on alone, the games you always lose, and the books that made you cry but no longer do. And exchange them for something new. A form of social shopping without spending money. Mediamatic Fabriek relieves you of your unwanted Christmas gifts and shameful purchases. You can even swap massages and haircuts. Click here for the categories within which you can trade. Ruilen is opened from Wednesday till Sunday, 13.00 till 18.00 and also shows work by artists who question and explore the practice of exchange.

Sunday-swapping

Each Sunday we're hosting a swap-event. On November 25 we're swapping fashion at Toko deLuxe, the week after art, and hold on to your unwanted Christmas presents, because we'll relieve you of those, too. Keep checking our event page for program updates.

Ruilen is an exhibition and a series of events held from October 20 till January 6. Open from Wednesday through Sunday, from 13.00 to 18.00. Mediamatic Fabriek, VOC-kade 10, Amsterdam.

Entrance is free for members. You can get a membership, which gives you free entrance for a month, by doing a chore like an hour of barkeeping or half an hour of vacuum cleaning. Otherwise it's € 5,-. Children half price.
