BIO:
Annalisa Bruno was born in 1975 in Naples, Italy. Driven by her desire to explore and evolve, she moved to London in the mid-90s to pursue her interest in design. She followed a diploma in interior design in the city before her passion for photography was ignited.
On moving to Amsterdam, she undertook a variety of courses, starting with photography studies at Crea, associated with the University of Amsterdam, swiftly followed by Advanced Photography Studies and Digital Post Processing at Fotogram, run by the highly acclaimed Photography Academy of Amsterdam; which took her abilities to a new level.
Inspired by the natural world and the beauty that surrounds us, Annalisa found that her main areas of interest lie in landscapes, wildlife and travel photography, as well as miksang, abstract and fine art; and in recent years she has also developed strong skills in shooting music documentaries, events and portraiture, as well as being drawn to commercial photography by her early design studies, specializing in interior design.
She lives photography as a powerful medium of expression and communication, that offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution; but photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas, it’s a creative art.
To this day Annalisa remains inspired by beauty of life captured; by that wonderful alignment of events, where the light, the color, the shapes, and the balance all interlock so perfectly that the wonder of it it’s truly overwhelming. Everywhere is something that could be beautiful. You must only see, and know how to crop from the infinity.
