How contemporary are Le Poème Électronique and the planned reconstruction of the Philips pavilion at the industrial park Strijp S? A symposium on the motives of Le Corbusier, Xenakis and Varèse, as well as on the legal issues involved with the rebuild.

The original Philips pavilion for Le Poème Électronique in Brussels cost approximately 3 million euros, and was designed entirely as a Gesamtkunstwerk of Le Corbusier, Xenakis and Varèse. The rebuild in Eindhoven will recreate the destroyed pavilion, but how exciting is that proposal?
